Drake attends the LA Premiere of HBO's "Euphoria" at The Cinerama Dome on June 04, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Drake’s highly-anticipated For All The Dogs album dropped Friday (October 6). The rapper was trending in more ways than one on X (formerly Twitter), with his name being the number one trend all morning. His other aliases, including his real first name, Aubrey, were scattered throughout the trending page. “Rich Baby Daddy” is one of our personal favorites that has popped up, his 20th song on the 23-track album. “Drizzy” is another one of Drake’s names, and that was trending as well. Of course, his 5-year-old son Adonis made the trending page as well, as he provided the album artwork, he was featured in his music video for “8AM in Charlotte,” and he made his rap debut, providing vocals featured on “Daylight.”

The Cost of For All The Dogs

As we previously reported, Drake, 36, pushed back the release of his eighth studio album with the “dilemma” of canceling his show to finish the album or “complete the mission” and drop the album before the last show. For All the Dogs is out now, while his last date for the It’s All A Blur Tour ends in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, October 9. Drake’s last album was a collaboration with 21 Savage titled Her Loss, released last November. Honestly, Nevermind was his last solo album, released in June 2022.

Following the release of For All the Dogs, Drake announced he is taking a hiatus from music to take care of his health. Per the New York Post, Drake said he will be talking more about that “soon,” adding that it’s “Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life.” Offering a little more context, Drake said he has been having the “craziest problems for years with my stomach.” Now, the father of one said he needs to get that right, so the studio will be locked away for a “little bit” so he can focus on his life.

Take a look below at all the ways Drake is trending.

  • Drake

One of the top posts on X with Drake’s name is this hilarious screengrab of lyrics from track 14, “Members Only [ft. PartyNextDoor].” The line goes: “Feel like I’m bi, ’cause you’re one of the guys, girl.” The person who posted this on X hilariously wrote: “you ever hear a bar and be like ‘yeah only drake would say this.'” On Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, he says in the song “Girls Want Girls:” “Yeah, say that you a lesbian, girl, me too.” So, we understand completely where this person is coming from.

  • Aubrey

    J. Cole rapped in track six, “First Person Shooter:” “Love when they argue the hardest emcee, is it K-Dot, is it Aubrey or me… we the BIG 3 like we started a league, now I feel like Muhammad Ali.” One person wrote on X: “J. Cole is expressing his appreciation for the debates and discussions among fans and critics about who is the best or the most skilled rapper in the industry.” They add that J. Cole’s comparison suggests him, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake have collectively elevated the rap industry to a new level, “similar to how legendary basketball players like Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson are known as the ‘Big Three’ in basketball history.”

  • Rich Baby Daddy

Track 20 is “Rich Baby Daddy,” which features rising rapper Sexxy Red and another album collaboration with SZA. On X, there were split reactions on the song, with people complaining about Sexxy’s verse on the track. As one person put it, “rich baby daddy is sum fun for the girls.”

  • Drizzy

This person said For All The Dogs “marks a return to form for Drizzy.” Drake first told the story of his nickname during a 2010 interview with Katie Couric. At the time, he explained that a friend from Toronto named Foots was the first person to call him “Drizzy.” Continuing on, the fan states that Drake’s last few releases over the years are his “passion projects” that show us a side of Drake we only “got a taste of throughout his career.” They say his latest album drop combines “Drake’s traditional roots with his newly acquired styles.”
