So I'd consider myself a pretty good mage, according to my stats I'm in the Top 100 for Enemies Killed, Total Enemies Killed, and Mage Damage. The main weapon I've been using is a Frozen Scythe, and honestly, just that has been enough, but all of a sudden I keep seeing a bunch of other good mages using the Bonzo Staff, and I can't understand why. I've gotten a 5 Star Bonzo Staff before and it did like 1/3 the damage my Scythe does. Is there some secret to the Bonzo Staff I'm just not seeing?

Not true, staffs with either a reforge or enchantment have better gear score compared to clean ones.

I prefer the frozen scythe more than the bonzo staff, bonzo staff is a cheaper alternative since its only 10-12m compared to Frozen Scythe which is 28m from bazaar. Bonzo staff deals AOE, whereas the frozen scythe pierces in a straight line. Frozen scythe has a faster trajectory speed compared to bonzo staff. The main thing I see that might make bonzo staff better is the fact that it's a dungeons item whereas the frozen scythe is not. The last time I used a frozen scythe was when I was a level 4 mage, I should probably give it a run now that I'm a level 18 mage. Who knows, it might be better than scythe if you're at a high enough level.

You should be using a frozen scythe, it's higher damage output plus the lower mana cost makes it an all around better weapon that allows mages to shred through any dungeon enemy the come into contact with!

yeah but i dont wanna investn ow into scythe since it polly gets nerfed and i alrdy invested some money into bonzo

In dungeons, the DPS of bonzo staff is actually higher, seeing as for me, it is only around 20% more damage but I fire 3x the shots a second, meaning more dps. Aswell as AOE dmg for clearing floors is crazy good. Plus depending on how good your gear score is when you drop it, it will be better or worse. I can’t be happier with my 5 star recombobulated bonzo staff, it’s crazy good
